Lucille Clerc
Lucille Clerc is a French Illustrator based in London. She set up her studio after graduating from Central Saint Martins with an MA in Communication Design and previously from ENSAAMA in Paris with a DSAA in Visual Communication. Lucille mainly works within the field of editorial design and illustration for books and magazines and sometimes ventures into design for interiors and exhibition spaces. Her work is inspired by the natural world and the streets and architecture of London.
An exceptionally skilled drawer, Lucille's work is predominantly created using hand drawn separations and sketches. Her limited edition work is screen printed by hand in London by the artist.
In the past two years Lucille has created projects for The V&A Museum, Fortnum&Mason, Farrow&Ball, Magma bookstore, Laurence King Publishers, St James's Correspondent, The Loop, TGV Magazine, Metropolitan Eurostar magazine, MarieClaire, L'Obs, Elephant Magazine, Diamond architects and David Kohn architects.
