Outline Editions Presents ‘ANTHONY BURRILL- A ONE-MAN SHOW’

Outline Editions first opened in 2010 as a pop-up space on Soho’s Berwick Street Market. This graphic art gallery/shop, has since emerged as one of London’s leading destinations for affordable art with a reputation for its striking window designs and ongoing showcase of work from the most exciting graphic artists of the moment.

Following on from its hugely successful debut show ‘Into The Forest’ and the recent ‘Joys of Spring’, Outline Editions is now a permanent fixture on Berwick Street – showcasing, commissioning and selling works from graphic artists and illustrators at the forefront of fashion, music and pop culture.

From June 10th, the gallery has invited ‘Godfather of the graphic art scene’ Anthony Burrill, to curate a month-long solo show entitled ‘Clear Your Head Every Day’.  Best known for his woodblock prints of uplifting and thoughtful slogans, Burrill was also the artist in residence at Somerset House’s Pick Me Up graphic art fair earlier this year.

Clear Your Head Every Day’ will include a collection of 30 new, small-scale limited edition prints and neon artworks created exclusively for the show, as well as collaborations with both internationally acclaimed furniture designer Michael Marriott and the sculptor Wilfrid Wood. There will be live workshops taking place and the gallery space and windows will be re-designed by Burrill and Marriott for the show; each piece will be for sale (prices from £30 – £300).
